Dr. Nguyen grew up in Vietnam with both parents working as medical doctors. She came to Southern California with no formal education when she was 19 years old. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at UC Irvine where she graduated Suma Cum Laude. She went to USC Keck School of Medicine, and returned to UC Irvine for a Family Medicine Residency. Since 2005, she worked for Kaiser Permanente and VNCOC, before joining Family Care Centers Urgent Care in 2015. In 2009, she joined Nhan Hoa Community Clinic in Garden Grove as a Women Health Director. Later, she became Medical Director and implemented standards of care for underserved population and helped the clinic achieve NCQA (National Committee of Quality Assurance) Level 2 recognition and FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Care Center) status. Her focus is on providing the highest quality care to patients and improving lifestyle choices to reduce or eliminate health problems.
